I'm George, a seasoned full-stack developer with 5 years of hands-on experience in web development. My focus is on creating captivating user experiences through intuitive interfaces. I've worked extensively with various frameworks, including Angular, Vue.js, React, and more recenelty Svelte/SvelteKit, which has become a favorite for its elegance and the speed it brings to my projects.
Alongside my frontend mastery, I'm well-versed in backend technologies, Node.js being my primary tool. Furthermore, I have experience with AWS and serverless architectures, ensuring that my solutions are both efficient and effective.
Beyond coding, I find joy in gaming, strumming my guitar, learning new tools and technologies delving into low-level languages like Rust and C++ as well as game development.

In this role, I gained hands-on experience and technical proficiency through providing comprehensive technical support for the entire camp. My duties encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, including PC repairs, troubleshooting, and the expansion of network infrastructure.

In July 2021, I joined the developer team at 24ORE Business School and assumed a pivotal role in the implementation of their new website using Svelte and Sapper, while leveraging AWS CloudSearch and Contentful for streamlined content management. My contributions extended to optimizing the website for SEO and Lighthouse performance scores, thereby ensuring an exceptional user experience. Additionally, I played a crucial role in developing APIs utilizing the Serverless framework for various internal applications. This encompassed creating APIs to display comprehensive statistics and metrics. Furthermore, I spearheaded the development of an application aimed at automating the creation of online Zoom meetings for courses and seamlessly integrating them with Docebo, our learning management system. This extensive involvement facilitated effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, enabling contributions to both external-facing website enhancements and internal operational optimizations. It afforded me invaluable experience across a diverse spectrum of tools and technologies essential for modern web development and organizational efficiency.

From September to December 2019, I contributed to Vue.js and React/Next.js based dashboard applications for various projects. One of them was for Proxim. In May 2020, I spearheaded a significant project for Emotiva, concentrating on developing a client dashboard for project and survey creation. A key aspect of my role was the creation of the respondent app, enabling survey participants to provide feedback while their facial expressions were recorded. Additionally, I focused on enhancing the client dashboard with comprehensive analytics and graphs to facilitate data interpretation.

During my internship, I helped in the development of a room layout customization feature for a restaurant management dashboard application using Angular and Ionic frameworks. This feature allowed restaurant managers to easily design their layouts by dragging and positioning tables. Additionally, I improved the booking management system by enabling managers to allocate booking slots to specific tables and enhancing the display of booking lists.
